Everything travels over TLS and is encrypted where it is stored, backups included. Some suggestions send anonymized numbers (totals, a balance and a rate) to the outside service that drafts them; never names, account numbers, or your bank login. Turn that off in Preferences. The formal list of providers is in the privacy policy.

Disconnect a bank
Settings › Connections › Remove. Ample deletes the token and revokes it at Plaid. Most banks also list Plaid under connected apps, so you can cut it off from their side too.
Delete everything
Settings › Data › Delete account removes your account, every row of data, and the connections at Plaid. Export a copy first if you want one. Or write to us and we will do it.
