Reference codes
Every account, connection, bill, Move and goal has a short code. It is how you point support at one thing without telling us what it is.

Every account, bank connection, bill, Move and goal in Ample carries a short reference code. The code says nothing about the item: not the bank, not the merchant, not the amount. It is a label you and support can both see, so you can say “this one” without saying what it is.
Where to find a code
Beside each item there is a small ID tap. Tap it and a bubble shows the code, a Copy button, and Report a problem, which attaches the code to your message. When you report from an item this way, the code goes with the report and the item's name does not.
Codes also appear in Settings › Account, under Who has looked, next to every time support opened your view and the ticket it was for.
Why support only sees codes
When you ask for help, support opens a view built from reference codes, connection health and states: never account names, merchants, amounts or balances. That is enough to see that a connection is stale or a bill is stuck, and not enough to see your money. Every open of that view is listed in Settings › Account, so you can check it yourself.
What to share
Paste the code, say what you expected and what happened, and that is usually enough. If you want to tell us the account or the amount, you can. It is your call, and we will never ask for your bank login or a statement.
